Little Falls Decor

Your home, only better
Why Little Falls Decor?
When my husband and I bought our second home in 2020, I eventually looked for an interior designer. Like many homes in the area, ours has plenty of square footage—and rooms that needed some thought. I quickly realized that we were really looking for a decorator, as we weren't planning on moving walls or completely changing layouts. Interior decorators dress an existing space with furniture, paint colors, fabrics, window treatments, artwork, and gallery walls.
I wanted someone to give me advice on where to focus, what to re-use (and how), where to source items (from Crate & Barrel to Facebook Marketplace), and where to use color and wallpaper. I also wanted someone to tell us where we should save vs spend—and perhaps be a partner in evaluating and talking through our ideas. I wanted someone who would work with me closely, as I really enjoy the decorating process but was overwhelmed with options, scale, and cost.
Fast forward six years, I'm now soft-retired from the corporate world and decided to pursue my passion for decorating. I'd like to help others realize their vision. Credentials? Courses (think Masterclass), and perhaps most importantly, lots of trial and error in our home (in the past six years my office has evolved with three paint colors and one wallpaper before I got it just right).
Little Falls will help you make your home feel like you—one room, one wall, or one decision at a time. I leverage estate sale finds, discount big box stores, existing items and furniture, and more expensive stores with color and wallpaper. I also throw in a strong dose of realism, including evaluating your lifestyle and the b-word...budget. I also have a particular love for gallery walls/displays. They're personal, unexpected, and one of the best ways to turn the things you already own into a statement.
I look forward to working with you!

(L) Little Falls specializes in mixing utility (i.e. a quality easy care rug), books you've had for years, estate sale and travel finds, Anthropolgie decor, family and travel photos, and, of course, plants.
(R) Just a few changes (i.e. big box retailer ceiling light and rug) and Spoonflower wallpaper can really happy-up a mud room.
